This is just a brief follow-up to yesterday's post about troubles with my daugher's iPod Nano. After restoring the software to current versions, things seemed to be ok, but they weren't. I determined that the version of software that had been on my daughter's machine, though a little old, was in fact supposed to support the Nano properly. I finally figured out how to reformat the iPod, and once again things seemed to be ok after that, but they weren't. No time to go into details now, but I'll try to come back to it later.
I am hereby renaming it the fPod. Just in case my font's don't make that clear, here it is again:
I don't think there's any need to explain the meaning of the letter "f".

Sounds like you and I have about the same amount of patience with family tech support. A couple of Friday nights ago, I came home to a son who was all upset that he got a virus and AOL was sending messages to all his contacts(..or something like that) . All I heard was virus and I about lost it. Luckily, it didn't take me long to find a solution.
On another note, hope I get a chance to say "hi" on Wednesday if your going to the Domino 7 Launch event in Woburn. I plan on making the trip. Hopefully, I can get away for the day.
