GoogleIt Mail IT Print IT PermaLinkHappy 72nd Birthday To John McCain

Today, John McCain's supporters at the Ervin J. Nutter Center sang Happy Birthday to him before he instroduced Sarah Palin as his running mate. I didn't see candles. I don't think the fire marshall would have allowed that many.

Anyhow, here's a reminder of how he spent his 69th birthday: helping President Bush be oblivious to hurricane Katrina.

As for Palin... an interesting choice, particularly for a man who would be the oldest President ever elected into office. My initial reaction is simply this: John McCain has raised pandering to an art form. No question about that. And the fact that the announcement was made at the "Nutter Center"... Hmmm....

Really? Your kidding right? Not that Obama was able to pick anyone worth a crap? Biden? Really? He is so borring and blah that it screams, I am OBAMA pay attention to me. The DEMS have a boring ticket now and McCain has something that confuses me. I would put Palin in office and leave John to VP.
